I am sorry but this is the only way I can do lay-a-way and not "loose" money. This also helps off set the cost of keeping the dolls web page open to be viewed 24/7, this website is not free.
Please keep reading, if you put the doll on lay-a-way and want to use PayPal, a $2.00 fee will be charged per transaction.
PayPal charges me 4% +$0.30 for every transaction.
...On $50 they charges me $2.30... and on $100 dollars they charge me $4.30...
...Plus they charges 4.6% + 30 or $4.90 for $100 if a charge card is used...
Personal Checks and Money orders are free, no PayPal fee. But if you feel safer using PayPal then you will have to add the $2 fee to the cost of the doll each and every time you pay using PayPal.

Cost to use PayPal on your Lay-A-Way will be $2.00 for each transaction regardless of the amount.
"International Lay-A-Way the fee will be $5.00 for each transaction because PayPal charges me for the international exchange."
(NOT CANADA--- Canada is the same as America with a $2.00 fee).
All other countries will be $5.00.... PayPal Charges 5%+.30 Per $100 or $5.30 dollars.

OK let me explain why... when you make a $50 dollar payment I get charged $2.30. Ok say after 3 or 4 months you have changed your mind on buying the doll. I cannot go in and refund your money in the $50 dollar payments you made using PayPal. I go in and refund all your money at once so PayPal does not refund me that original $2.30. So if I do not charge that amount to you, then I am out that $2.30 for every payment you made. Now you think well, I/Dolly would have to pay that amount if you bought the doll outright anyway “Right?” And Yes if you used PayPal I would have to pay that PayPal fee. Now let me explain... if you buy the doll outright I do pay the fees but if you return the doll I also refund you that same money and PayPal will refund me that fee. But like I said, on Lay-A-Way I cannot refund you the money in that same way because it was made in payments over 3 or 4 months time. I would have to go back 3 or 4 months to do that and it could be done, but not without a complete explanation to PayPal why I am issuing so many refunds. PayPal also has rules .... If I am issuing you a refund on anything you bought from me I have to issue it within in 40 days or it goes into a hold and I have to explain to PayPal what I am doing. PayPal is a bank and they operate like a bank, you cannot just go into your account and do what you like whenever you like. You have to follow their rules or they will close my account if I don’t. So refunding you 3 or 4 months down the road I loose that PayPal fee and so do you because too much time has passed. So the only way for me to offer Lay-A-Way and PayPal, I have to charge you the fee PayPal charges me. I still loose money on any Lay-A-Way that a person changes his or her mind on, I just do not loose as much as you would if you change your mind. I am sorry but this is the only way I can offer Lay-A-Way and PayPal to you with a 100% refund of the doll cost and not get into trouble with PayPal. Also Please remember if you send me a personal check it is free... NO PayPal Fees... and I can refund you the same way or if you want a PayPal refund you will have to pay a fee on the money I send you.
Special note here... Also Please Remember if I have to refund you on your Lay-A-Way and you want the money through PayPal. PayPal will charge you a fee to receive the money. I think the cost is the same as I have stated above. $4.30 for a $100 or $8.30 for $200, or $12.30 for $300 (I think)... The amount they charge me might be a bit higher than the amount they would charge you, I don't know. Please email me if you have any questions. Also please remember these dolls are made of plastic and rubber and after years of kids playing with these dolls and people keeping these dolls in storage they can pick up and give off lots of different smells, so please do not keep her boxed up to long. My dolls have been cleaned inside and out from head to toe. My dolls are VERY, VERY, clean and smell like dolls.
You can be assured I will tell you everything about the doll good or bad, not just her fine points but everything I see that I think should be told. If you have questions about some part of the doll that I have or don't have a picture of please ask, I can miss things on the dolls that I think are unimportant and therefore not mention in my description, If I do and you are “Not Happy” PLEASE FEEL FREE TO MAIL HER BACK TO ME. I want you to be happy with this doll, 100% happy. I do not what you to regret buying her and I mean that. I will return your money as soon as you send the doll back to me.
