Using HTML To Make Your Animated Signature Into A Text Document To Work With Outlook Express
To Find Notepad Go To Programs / Accessories / NotePad
Skip Reading Top For Now And Go Down To Number 1
"Notepad" under "Accessories" in "Programs"
Script (code) You Will Need To Write In Changing The Picture Name To Your Pictures Name or Use The Picture Below To Practice With
<img src="C:\Windows\Desktop\horgray1.gif">
The Script (Code) Above Is For The Picture Animated Zodiac Sign Picture To Your Right
Example Pictures Name Is
horgray1dp.gif
Right Click On The Picture To Save
In The Save Box Write The Path Below

Path-->C:\Windows\Desktop\horgray1.gif
Exactly As Wrote -- Then Click On Save
Note:.. Make Sure You Use A Back-Slash (\) Not The Forward-Slash (/) ... When Writing Your Code
This Path Is To Save The Picture To Your Desktop
Note:..If Using Your Own Picture Change The Name In The Path To C:\Windows\Desktop\YourPicture.gif
Note:..This Does Not Change Your Picture In Anyway

1.  First You Will Need To Open Up "Note Pad"  In "Programs" "Accessories" Down To "Notepad"
In Notepad Write In The Box The Script Below

2<img src="C:\windows\Desktop\orgray1.gif"> <--This Is The Script (code) You Will Need To Write To Create A HTML Document.  (Note:..Replace horgray1.gif)  with the name of your picture if Not Using the picture above.   Before you use the picture above please read captions also above.. this is the easiest way to practice  making the HTML document

Next You Will Need To Save Your Document Click On
(See Photo Below)
3.  "File" At The Top Of Notepad Go Down And Click On
4.  "Save As"  The best Way To Save Is For You To Write The Whole Path In.  That Way You Are Sure It Has Been Saved To Your Desktop.   The Path Will Be The Same For Windows 95, 98 and Me.  It Is

C:\Windows\Desktop\Signature.html
Note:..This Is The Same Path You Will Use In Your E-Mail In Signatures

5.  Click Save  And Continue To Section Three #3 Below
For Windows 95, 98 and Me
"Save As" Correct Path Will Be
C:\Windows\Desktop\AnyNameYouWantHere.html
For Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings\Default\Desktop\AnyNameYouWant.html
In The Picture Use This Path Only If You Are Familiar With Your Desktop
Correct Path Is
C:\Windows\Desktop\AnyNameYouWantHere.html
Leave The Bottom Box As Is (Save as Type)  It Doesn't Matter What Is In This Box Or What It Says As Long As You Write The Correct Path In Where It Says "File Name" Also The Same Is True For The Top Box (Save in) .. It Does Not Have To Say Desktop Because The Path You Are Writing In Is All That Is Needed To Save The HTML Document On Your Desktop
Note:.. You Will Need To Keep The HTML And The Picture On Your Desktop So Your Computer Can Find Them Or If You Want To Save Them In A Folder Then Just Change The Path.   Meaning
C:\windows\desktop\folder1\horgray1.gif
C:\windows\desktop\folder1\signature.html
You Do Not Have To Do These TidBit They Are Option Only
TidBiT..
After You Write The Script (code) In Your HTML Document You Can Also Add Text.    Like Your Address Or Phone #  All You Need To Do Is Write The Code In Then After The Code Write Something Like ....
<img src="C:\Windows\Desktop\horgray1.gif">
Phone:. 555-777-5555
<img src="C:\Windows\Desktop\horgray1.gif">
Phone:.. 555-777-5555
TidBiT:..You Can Make As Many Of These HTML Documents As You Want I Have 5 Different Signatures Set Up I Just Numbered Them Different When I Saved.  Also You Can Name The HTML Documents Anything You Want.  The Main Thing Is Knowing The Path
